Erik Tellefson is the Senior Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Real Estate Lending at Capital One including Medical Office, Medical Properties, Life Science Buildings, Healthcare REITs and Seniors Housing. During his twenty plus year commercial real estate lending and sixteen year career at GE Capital and now with Capital One since 2015, he has focused on Medical Office/Medical Property transactions first in risk and now leading business development and has experience with originations, structuring, valuation, and underwriting.

Since 2010, Mr. Tellefson has originated Medical Office, Medical Properties and Life Science transactions in excess of $40B in loan commitments utilizing Capital One’s MOB value propositions of healthcare expertise, structure and flexibility, risk adjusted pricing, on balance sheet relationship lending, certainty of execution, and the ability to align Capital One debt with borrower’s business plans offering bespoke financing solutions ranging from middle market single assets to large portfolios.
