Nathan Morris

Nathan Morris is Managing Director in the Real Estate Finance Group at Barclays Capital, a full service investment bank. In his role, Nathan oversees a team responsible for originating and selling CMBS and balance sheet loans to institutional and middle market real estate clients nationwide. Mr. Morris provides various lending solutions to the medical office, life science, assisted living, age restricted, and healthcare sectors. Nathan’s team focuses on individual property and portfolio financings, both on a project basis and as part of larger M&amp;A, recapitalization, spinoff, and other real estate investment banking activities. Nathan’s clients include healthcare focused owners and developers, REITs, and private equity funds nationwide. Based out of New York City, Mr. Morris has been with Barclays for over 10 years at the firm’s U.S. headquarters.

Prior to Barclays, Mr. Morris was a Director within the Structured Finance Group at a publicly traded mortgage REIT and the company’s acquisitions subsidiary. Mr. Morris began his career at Wells Fargo in the Real Estate Merchant Banking Group, where he spent 5 years as a Relationship Manager focused on large situational real estate lending to institutional clients.

Nathan received an MBA from Columbia University and a BS from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Finance and Marketing and a minor Economics.
