Andy Dow is a shareholder in the law firm of Winstead P.C., where he serves on the firm’s Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Firm's Real Estate Industry Group and Healthcare Real Estate Practice. His practice involves a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including the development, leasing, acquisition, disposition and financing of all types of real estate, with a particular emphasis on healthcare facilities, mixed use projects and hotels and resorts. Mr. Dow earned his J.D. in 1991 from Southern Methodist University, where he was Managing Editor of the SMU Law Review (formerly known as the Southwestern Law Journal). He is a member of The Real Estate Council, the Urban Land Institute and the Leadership Dallas Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for Healthcare Real Estate Insights. He has consistently been recognized as a leader in his field by publications such as The Chambers and Partners Guide (2003-2021), Best Lawyers in America (2006-2021) and Texas Monthly Magazine Super Lawyers (2005-2021). Mr. Dow also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Texas A&M School of Law and is a frequent author and speaker on real estate and healthcare topics at both the national and statewide level. Mr. Dow and his wife, Lynn, have been married for 29 years and have three children (Courtney (23), Andrew (21) and Caroline (21)), as well as two Australian Shepherds (Stewie and Sully) .
